About The Position

Across Canada, VetStrategy is a network of veterinary practices united by a shared purpose: healthy animals, happy owners. They bring this to life through three promises: Our People Promise – To be a great place to work; Our Customer Promise – To deliver world-class veterinary care, locally; Our Sustainability Promise – To be a force for good. Guided by their values—We Care, We Dare, We Share—they prioritize well-being, embrace challenges, and foster collaboration. Rooted in passion and compassion, they support their people, patients, their families, and their communities. Humble and approachable, they achieve more together. Since June 2006, Crossroads Veterinary Clinic has been steadily growing their clientele every year in Thunder Bay, a city located on Lake Superior known for its fabulous outdoors opportunities and ecotourism. Their newly renovated 5000 square feet facility is modern, clean, and comfortable, encompassing a spacious reception area, 6 fully digitalized examination rooms, a thoughtfully designed comfort room, a spacious pharmacy, one surgical bay, one dental bay, and 3 designated DVM workstations away from the treatment area. The clinic is a comfortable, kid-friendly and relaxing environment for patients, striving to minimize waiting room time and provide private examination rooms upon arrival. Equipment includes a digital x-ray machine, anesthesiology units, computerized ear endoscope, blood analyzing equipment, surgical monitors, ultrasound and laser therapy, allowing them to offer first rate pet care. They prioritize best-practice medicine, with cutting-edge technology for a variety of intriguing cases. Their veterinarians are experienced in all types of conditions and treatments, handling both emergency cases as well as less urgent medical, surgical, and dental issues. Beyond routine consultations, they also offer services such as animal behaviour, chiropractic, acupuncture, dentistry, surgery and wound repair, and microchipping. They are looking for fellow Veterinarians who share their belief that all animals deserve compassionate veterinary care, and are dedicated to providing the finest service. The ideal candidates are comfortable working in a “country – feel at home” atmosphere, and care to offer a personalized, one-to-one approach to all clients.
