About The Position

Pulaski Animal Hospital is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their established team in Chicago. This is a busy, community-focused small animal practice with a loyal client base, diverse caseload, and a team that enjoys working together. The practice is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates. For new graduates, it offers an opportunity to build confidence in wellness and preventive care while gaining exposure to various medical and surgical cases. The hospital serves a diverse client population, including many Spanish-speaking families, offering opportunities to practice Spanish, though it is not required. Pulaski Animal Hospital has been serving the Chicago community since 1955 and has maintained AAHA standards for over 40 years, primarily caring for dogs and cats with a broad range of services including preventive, medical, dental, diagnostic, and surgical care.

Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree from an accredited university
Current or ability to obtain an Illinois veterinary license
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Collaborative, team-oriented approach to patient care
Commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality veterinary medicine
Interest in continued learning and professional growth

Nice To Haves

Spanish-speaking ability is a plus, but not required.
