About The Position
IndeVets is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. This part-time, W-2 position allows veterinarians to work 1-3 days per week with a guaranteed salary and a schedule they control. IndeVets handles scheduling, logistics, and coordination, allowing veterinarians to focus on practicing medicine. The position emphasizes clinical autonomy, patient care over numbers, and provides dedicated medical leadership, mentorship, and access to a veterinary social worker. Requirements
- DVM or VMD from an AVMA-accredited program (or equivalent)
- Active license (or ability to obtain)
- DEA + controlled substance license (as applicable)
- 1+ year of clinical experience in a small animal setting
- Confidence practicing independently
- Strong communication and client relationship skills

- GP, ER, or urgent care experience
- Internship training
Responsibilities
- Practice veterinary medicine independently across a variety of trusted hospital settings.
- Focus on patient care and clinical autonomy, without production quotas or negative accrual.
- Collaborate with a community of fellow veterinarians and receive support from dedicated medical leadership and mentorship.
- Utilize provided resources such as VIN, VETgirl, Fear Free, and VetRec AI scribe.
- Potentially gain experience in surgery, dentistry, ER, or urgent care based on shift availability and preferences.
