About The Position
DVM Focus is representing a full-time Associate Veterinarian opportunity in the South Puget Sound area for an experienced DVM seeking a collaborative environment, strong clinical support, and the freedom to practice high-quality companion-animal medicine. This role offers a varied general-practice caseload with opportunities to use and continue developing medical, surgical, and dental skills.
Requirements
- DVM, VMD, or equivalent veterinary degree
- Washington veterinary license or ability to obtain one
- Minimum 2 years of post-graduate clinical veterinary experience
- Strong diagnostic and clinical skills
- General surgical and dental competency
- Strong client communication skills
- Ability to work effectively within a collaborative veterinary team
- Commitment to high-quality patient care and continued professional development
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive companion-animal care, including: Preventive and wellness medicine
- Diagnostic evaluation and medical workups
- Internal medicine
- General surgery
- Dentistry
- Treatment planning and case management
- Client education and communication
- Follow-up care
- Collaboration with veterinary and support-team colleagues
