About The Position

CityVet Universal City offers a unique blend of general practice and urgent care services, providing veterinarians with the opportunity to work on a wide variety of cases in a collaborative and well-supported environment. The caseload is diverse, ranging from preventative care to same-day urgent cases and advanced surgeries, allowing for continuous growth in clinical skills while practicing high-quality medicine. The hospital is fully equipped to support advanced diagnostics and surgical care, including 4 exam rooms, a large treatment area, a private surgical suite, and on-site echocardiograms and full abdominal ultrasounds interpreted by trained sonographers. The clinic is equipped with ultrasound, digital dental radiographs, Abaxis analyzers, Imagist, therapeutic laser, a large surgical suite, and treatment area.

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent.
• Licensed to practice in this state or eligible for licensure.
• A collaborative spirit and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
• Interest in General Practice and/or Urgent Care medicine.
• Experience working with complex cases.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule with rotating weekends.
