About The Position

CityVet Alamo Heights is seeking a full-time Veterinarian to join our thriving GP + Urgent Care hybrid practice. This is an ideal opportunity for a veterinarian who enjoys variety, values strong client communication, and wants exposure to a diverse and medically progressive caseload. Our team practices high-quality medicine with a strong emphasis on efficiency, teamwork, and exceptional patient care. New graduates are encouraged to apply and will be supported by a collaborative, experienced team committed to providing strong mentorship, guidance, and clinical support. You’ll work alongside a team of 4 Associates with mixed levels of experience, a large team of highly utilized technicians, and a boarded surgeon who performs orthopedic procedures and provides surgical mentorship/support. Our technicians are deeply involved in patient care and take immense pride in their work, allowing our doctors to focus on medicine, surgery, and client communication. Our hospital is fully equipped to support advanced diagnostics and surgical care, featuring 6 exam rooms, a large treatment area, and a private, dual surgical suite. The clinic is equipped with Ultrasound, Digital dental radiographs, Abaxis analyzers, Imagyst, PT/PTT, Istat, Phovia light therapy, LigaSure, and a dedicated "clean room" for orthopedic surgery.

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent
• Licensed to practice in this state or eligible for licensure
• A collaborative spirit and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care
• Interest in General Practice and/or Urgent Care medicine
