About The Position

As a part-time W-2 veterinarian working 1-3 days per week, you will earn a guaranteed salary with a schedule you control by choosing your preferred working days. A dedicated scheduling coordinator will build your schedule in advance, offering predictability for your personal life. IndeVets manages scheduling, logistics, and coordination, allowing you to focus on practicing medicine. You will have a guaranteed salary as a foundation, with the option to earn more by picking up additional shifts, which can be paid out or converted into additional Paid Time Off (PTO). You will practice in various trusted hospital settings, gaining diverse clinical experience while maintaining the consistency, support, and stability of a single employer. Opportunities to include shifts in surgery, dentistry, ER, or urgent care are available when possible. This model eliminates the need for shift searching and weekly schedule rebuilding, offering a structured and sustainable way to stay connected to veterinary medicine.
Requirements
- DVM or VMD from an AVMA-accredited program (or equivalent)
- Active license (or ability to obtain)
- DEA + controlled substance license (as applicable)
- 1+ year of clinical experience in a small animal setting
- Confidence practicing independently
- Strong communication and client relationship skills

Responsibilities
- Practice medicine independently with clinical autonomy, focusing on patient care rather than numbers.
- Provide veterinary services across a variety of trusted hospital settings.
