About The Position

Gulfshore Animal Hospital is seeking a part-time Associate Veterinarian to join its team in Naples, Florida. The hospital emphasizes a collaborative culture, a relationship-based approach to patient and client care, and support for veterinarians’ professional aspirations. The opportunity is open to veterinarians at all experience levels.

The hospital is AAHA-accredited and was remodeled in 2020. It has more than 4,300 square feet, five exam rooms, and equipment including ultrasound, a heated surgery table, an autoclave, digital dental X-ray, and a handheld Nomad. The veterinarian will manage a varying caseload that includes surgeries and appointments during the hospital’s open hours.

Requirements

• DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited college, or successful completion of the ECFVG or PAVE program.
• Active license in good standing to practice in the state of employment, or the ability to obtain a license in that state.

Responsibilities

• Serve patients and clients with a relationship-based approach.
• Collaborate and engage with the clinical team and leadership.
• Grow relationships within the practice and the Naples community.
• Encourage the growth of support staff members through the internal LevelUp training program.
• Manage a varying caseload, including surgeries and appointments during open hours.
