About The Position

IndeVets is seeking a Part-Time Associate Veterinarian to join their team. This role offers a unique approach to veterinary medicine, prioritizing veterinarian well-being with flexible scheduling, guaranteed income, and hands-on support. As a part-time W-2 employee working 1-3 days per week, you will control your schedule, with a dedicated coordinator building your schedule in advance. IndeVets handles scheduling, logistics, and coordination, allowing you to focus on practicing medicine. You will have a guaranteed salary with the option to earn more by picking up additional shifts, which can be paid out or converted to PTO. You will practice in various trusted hospital settings, gaining diverse clinical experience while maintaining the stability of a single employer. The role emphasizes clinical autonomy, patient care over numbers, and provides a strong support system including medical leadership, mentorship, a community of fellow veterinarians, and access to a veterinary social worker. Opportunities for ongoing CE and professional development are also provided.

Requirements

• DVM or VMD from an AVMA-accredited program (or equivalent)
• Active license (or ability to obtain)
• DEA + controlled substance license (as applicable)
• 1+ year of clinical experience in a small animal setting
• Confidence practicing independently
• Strong communication and client relationship skills
