IndeVets is seeking a Full-Time Associate Veterinarian for our practice in Fort Myers, FL. We offer a unique employment model designed to provide stability, support, and control to veterinary careers. Unlike traditional practices, we replace rigid contracts with sustainable career paths, giving you control over your schedule and guaranteeing your income. You'll receive hands-on support and be part of a trusted community. Whether you prefer to work one day a week or five, you choose the days that suit you best, while receiving a biweekly salary, benefits, and dedicated scheduling support. Our goal is to ensure your career aligns with your life, not the other way around. As a full-time W-2 veterinarian working 4-5 days per week, you will build a schedule you control by selecting your preferred working days. A dedicated scheduling coordinator will arrange your schedule in advance, providing the clarity and predictability needed to plan your personal life. We manage scheduling, logistics, and coordination, allowing you to concentrate on practicing medicine. Your foundation will be a guaranteed salary, with the opportunity to increase your earnings by taking on additional shifts when convenient. These extra shifts can be compensated or converted into additional Paid Time Off (PTO), offering flexibility in how you are rewarded. You will practice at a network of trusted hospital partners, fostering meaningful relationships with teams and gaining diverse clinical experience. We aim to incorporate shifts in surgery, dentistry, ER, or urgent care into your schedule when feasible. Simultaneously, you will benefit from the consistency, benefits, and professional support of a full-time employee. This model eliminates the need to chase shifts, income uncertainty, and last-minute schedule gaps, offering a structured and sustainable approach to full-time veterinary medicine with the support and stability for long-term success. We emphasize practicing medicine your way, without production quotas, negative accrual, or restrictive non-competes, focusing on clinical autonomy and patient care rather than numbers. You will practice independently but always have support through dedicated medical leadership and mentorship, as well as a collaborative community of fellow veterinarians. Additionally, we offer access to a veterinary social worker and ongoing Continuing Education (CE) and professional development opportunities to foster growth. Our model is designed to prevent burnout, not cause it, and offers leadership and mentorship opportunities, exposure to diverse clinical settings, and the flexibility to adjust your schedule over time.
