About The Position
IndeVets is seeking a Full-Time Associate Veterinarian for Hagerstown, MD. This role offers a unique approach to veterinary medicine, prioritizing work-life balance and veterinarian well-being. As a full-time W-2 employee working 4-5 days per week, you will build a schedule in advance with the help of a dedicated scheduling coordinator, ensuring predictability for your life outside of work. The company handles scheduling, logistics, and coordination, allowing you to focus on practicing medicine. You will have a guaranteed salary as a foundation, with the option to earn more by picking up additional shifts, which can be paid out or converted into additional PTO. You will practice across a network of trusted hospital partners, gaining diverse clinical experience and building relationships with teams. Opportunities to include surgery, dentistry, ER, or urgent care shifts are available when possible. Requirements
- DVM or VMD from an AVMA-accredited program (or equivalent)
- Active license (or ability to obtain)
- DEA + controlled substance license (as applicable)
- 1+ year of clinical experience in a small animal setting
- Confidence practicing independently
- Strong communication and client relationship skills
