About The Position

IndeVets is seeking a Part-Time Associate Veterinarian to join their team. This role offers a unique approach to veterinary medicine, prioritizing veterinarian well-being with sustainable career paths, control over schedules, and guaranteed income. As a part-time W-2 veterinarian working 1-3 days per week, you will earn a guaranteed salary with a schedule you control, built in advance by a dedicated scheduling coordinator. IndeVets handles scheduling, logistics, and coordination, allowing veterinarians to focus on practicing medicine. The role involves practicing across a variety of trusted hospital settings, gaining diverse clinical experience while maintaining the support and stability of a single employer. Opportunities to include surgery, dentistry, ER, or urgent care shifts are available when possible. The position emphasizes clinical autonomy with no production quotas, no negative accrual, and no restrictive non-competes, focusing on patient care over numbers. Veterinarians practice independently but have access to dedicated medical leadership, mentorship, a collaborative community, and a veterinary social worker. Ongoing CE and professional development opportunities are provided. The model is designed to prevent burnout and offers leadership and mentorship opportunities, exposure to diverse clinical settings, and flexibility to evolve schedules over time.

Requirements

• DVM or VMD from an AVMA-accredited program (or equivalent)
• Active license (or ability to obtain)
• DEA + controlled substance license (as applicable)
• 1+ year of clinical experience in a small animal setting
• Confidence practicing independently
• Strong communication and client relationship skills
