Urgent Care / Associate Veterinarian
About The Position
Potranco Veterinary Clinic is seeking a compassionate, motivated Associate Veterinarian to join our growing team in a unique hybrid role that blends general practice with urgent care. This is an excellent opportunity for a veterinarian who enjoys variety in their day, values work-life balance, and wants to practice high-quality medicine in a supportive and collaborative environment. This position offers a consistent 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM schedule, ideal for those who appreciate a later start while still maintaining structured hours. Your caseload will include a mix of wellness visits, preventative care, diagnostics, and urgent care cases that require same-day attention but not overnight hospitalization.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent from an accredited university
- Active Veterinary State License (or ability to obtain upon hire)
- Current DEA License (or ability to obtain upon hire)
- USDA Accreditation (or ability to obtain upon hire)
Responsibilities
- Practice a balance of routine and urgent care medicine
- Work up and manage a diverse caseload
- Collaborate with an experienced and supportive veterinary team
- Build meaningful relationships with clients and patients
