About The Position

VCA Apache Animal Hospital is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to provide comprehensive care for dogs and cats, ranging from routine wellness visits to involved medical cases. The hospital offers an AAHA-accredited setting, a collaborative team, current veterinary technology, and a commitment to using fear-free techniques when possible. Hands-free radiology techniques are used to promote safety for patients and staff. Students and new graduates are encouraged to apply and will receive dedicated mentorship. The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The role offers 8-hour shifts, with rotating weekends when needed. Full-time is preferred, but part-time applicants are also considered. Compensation is negotiable based on experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, and relevant credentials. Sign-on, relocation, and longevity bonuses may be available, along with eligibility for other variable pay programs. Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university or equivalent.
Licensure in good standing to practice in Arizona, or the ability to obtain it.
Commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics.
