About The Position

Circle of Life Animal Hospital is hiring an Associate Veterinarian to join its team in Tampa, Florida. The hospital serves Tampa and surrounding communities and has done so since 1998. Its collaborative culture includes a variety of medical and surgical cases and supports veterinarians’ professional aspirations. The opportunity is suitable for veterinarians at all experience levels. The role involves managing a varying caseload, including surgeries and appointments during the hospital’s open hours, and working with the clinical team, leadership, support staff, clients, and the local community.

Requirements

• DVM or VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited college, or successful completion of the ECFVG or PAVE program.
• Active license in good standing to practice in the state of employment, or the ability to obtain a license in that state.

Responsibilities

• Serve patients and clients with a relationship-based approach.
• Collaborate and engage with the clinical team and leadership.
• Grow relationships within the practice and the Tampa community.
• Encourage the growth of support staff through the internal LevelUp training program.
• Manage a varying caseload, including surgeries and appointments during open hours.
