About The Position
Wellshire Animal Hospital is seeking a compassionate Associate Veterinarian to join their growing small animal practice. The ideal candidate will value teamwork, possess a strong work ethic, and fit into the positive culture of the hospital. This role is suitable for experienced doctors looking for collaboration, with a strong preference for those with an interest in surgery and dentistry. The position requires the veterinarian to be licensed, or eligible for licensure, in the state of Colorado. This is a full-time role, typically involving 3 weekdays and Saturday coverage, with no emergency or on-call duties.
Requirements
- DVM/VMD from an accredited program.
- Licensed veterinarian (or eligible) in Colorado.
- 3+ years of hands-on clinical veterinarian experience preferred.
- Strong surgical, diagnostic, and communication skills.
- Passion for high-quality patient care and client service.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with doctors and a talented support team, including multiple Certified Veterinary Technicians (CVTs).
- Multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment.

- Practice skills proficiently and explore areas for learning.
- Utilize state-of-the-art facility, including minimally-invasive laparoscopic and endoscopic equipment.
