About The Position

Warm & Fuzzy Veterinary Center (W&FVC) is seeking a part-time Associate Veterinarian to join their family-oriented team. This practice specializes in exotic animals, offering a unique and exciting appointment schedule. The ideal candidate is a talented and personable DVM or DVM to be, looking for mentorship and career advancement opportunities in a drama-free, skilled, and supportive environment. The hospital is newly expanded and equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including surgical suites, exam rooms, digital radiography, ultrasound, and an in-house lab. The practice prioritizes client interaction with 20-40 minute appointment blocks and is supported by a highly trained staff, including rVTs and CSRs, ensuring excellent patient flow and client communication. Located in Central Maryland, the position offers a great work-life balance with a Monday-Friday schedule and no on-call or after-hours emergency duties.

Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or soon to be DVM.
Talented, personable, and seeking mentorship and career advancement.
Ability to work part-time, approximately 7-20 hours per week.
Willingness to work within a Monday through Friday practice schedule.
No on-call or after-hours emergency coverage expected.

Responsibilities

Provide veterinary care to a variety of species, with a focus on exotics.
