About The Position

Mt. Scott Animal Clinic, located in Portland, Oregon, is seeking a full-time or part-time veterinarian to join their thriving practice. As the third doctor, the new hire will be part of a collaborative group that values relationships with clients, pets, and each other. The clinic has been serving the Portland community for over 50 years, known for exceptional care with compassion, respect, and integrity. The team emphasizes collaboration, continuous learning, and genuine connection, with a culture that values a good sense of humor, teamwork, and mutual support. Doctors assist each other with cases, and technicians and receptionists contribute wherever needed.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree.
  • Passion for practicing high-quality medicine.
  • Ability to work in a supportive, team-focused environment.
  • Commitment to leaving on time.
  • Good sense of humor.
  • Willingness to pitch in wherever needed.
  • Fear Free Certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Ability to make the best decisions for patients.
  • Valid veterinary license.
  • Liability coverage.
