About The Position

Hudson Highlands Veterinary Medical Group is hiring a full-time or part-time Associate Veterinarian to provide comprehensive medical care for cats and dogs in our Beacon practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a veterinarian who enjoys outpatient medicine within a well-established multi-location hospital network. The role is well suited for someone who is passionate about client education and developing lasting relationships with clients and their pets. The caseload is centered around wellness visits, vaccinations, chronic disease management, and outpatient sick appointments. There are no surgical responsibilities associated with this position. As an anchor veterinarian, you will play an important role in the continued growth and success of the practice while collaborating closely with our established Hopewell Junction team.

Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or VMD degree from an accredited institution.
Valid veterinary license in the State of New York.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive medical care for cats and dogs.
Focus on outpatient medicine, including wellness visits, vaccinations, chronic disease management, and outpatient sick appointments.
Educate clients and develop lasting relationships with clients and their pets.
Collaborate closely with the established Hopewell Junction team.
Participate in limited on-call coverage one evening per week, providing overnight phone support for the Hopewell Junction team (limited to minor cases not requiring hospitalization).
Play an important role in the continued growth and success of the practice.
