About The Position

Alexandria Animal Hospital of Fort Hunt is seeking an Associate Veterinarian, suitable for new graduates or experienced professionals, to join their recently remodeled, full-service hospital in Alexandria, VA. The hospital offers advanced equipment, a strong team, and full medical autonomy. They emphasize a supportive team environment with long-tenured staff and clients, a commitment to mentoring new graduates through programs like Encore’s MentorCore, and a unique opportunity to learn from a Medical Director with a background in NIH-funded ocular research. The position also offers flexible scheduling, stable hours, and is closed on Sundays. Both part-time and full-time candidates are welcome.

Requirements

• US Licensed DVM or DVM equivalent.
• Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
