About The Position

Oakview Veterinary Hospital, a general practice clinic serving Miami and Shelby counties and the surrounding Dayton area for over 40 years, is seeking a veterinarian. The clinic treats small animals, exotics, and pocket pets. This is a 2 DVM clinic with dedicated support staff. They offer a new grad mentorship program and are looking for a veterinarian proficient in general medicine, surgery, and dentistry. Experience is preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply. The clinic is located in Piqua, OH, a small city with a hometown feel that offers cultural amenities and access to outdoor activities.

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary degree, or equivalent, from an accredited university
• Active veterinary state license
• Proficient in general medicine, surgery and dentistry
• Experience preferred but new graduates seeking mentorship are encouraged to apply

Responsibilities

• Proficient in general medicine, surgery and dentistry
• Provide routine care, surgery, ultrasound, digital x-ray, cold laser therapy, dental care, and more.
• Mentor new graduates (if experienced)
