About The Position
Oakview Veterinary Hospital, a general practice clinic serving Miami and Shelby counties and the surrounding Dayton area for over 40 years, is seeking a veterinarian. The clinic specializes in small animals, exotics, and pocket pets. It is a 2 DVM clinic with dedicated support staff, offering rotating Saturdays and closed on Sundays. New graduate mentorship is available. The clinic provides services such as routine care, surgery, ultrasound, digital X-Ray, cold laser therapy, and dental care. Piqua, OH, offers a small-city feel with cultural amenities and outdoor recreational opportunities.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary degree, or equivalent, from an accredited university
- Active veterinary state license
Nice To Haves
- Experience preferred but new graduates seeking mentorship are encouraged to apply!
- Current DEA License preferred but not required
- USDA Accreditation preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Proficient in general medicine, surgery and dentistry
- Provide routine care, surgery, ultrasound, digital X-Ray, cold laser therapy, and dental care.
