About The Position
An AAHA-accredited small animal hospital in Northwest Wisconsin is seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian for a role combining general practice with same-day sick and urgent care. This is an opportunity to practice comprehensive medicine while taking on cases that extend beyond routine GP appointments. The hospital provides weekday urgent and emergency care for its community while referring overnight, weekend, and holiday emergencies to a local emergency hospital.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or VMD degree from an accredited institution
- Valid Wisconsin veterinary license
- Interest in comprehensive small animal general practice and urgent care
- Commitment to progressive, compassionate, client-focused medicine
- New graduates may be considered
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive preventive and wellness care
- Handle same-day sick visits
- Manage urgent care cases
- Provide weekday emergency care
