About The Position

Georgetown Veterinary Clinic is seeking an Associate Veterinarian (DVM/VMD) to join their growing team in Georgetown, Indiana. They are looking for a veterinarian who enjoys practicing high-quality medicine, values collaboration, and wants to be part of a team that genuinely enjoys working together. This position is suitable for experienced veterinarians seeking a long-term home or new graduates looking for a supportive environment to build confidence and grow. The clinic emphasizes a collaborative five-doctor team supported by licensed veterinary technicians and assistants, with experienced doctors willing to share knowledge and mentor new graduates. Surgery is not required but opportunities to develop surgical skills are available. The hospital is approximately 8,000 square feet and was purpose-built for veterinary medicine, featuring multiple exam rooms, surgical suites, a treatment area, kennels, a conference room, and an on-site gym.

Requirements

  • DVM or VMD degree from an accredited veterinary school
  • Licensed or eligible for veterinary licensure in Indiana
  • Strong communication and client education skills
  • Commitment to high-quality patient care

Nice To Haves

  • New graduates are welcome
  • Surgery is not required for this position
  • If surgery is an area you'd like to develop, however, you'll have experienced doctors who enjoy teaching and opportunities to build those skills at your own pace.
