About The Position

Compassion Animal Hospital is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team in Winter Haven, Florida. The hospital fosters a collaborative culture, handling a variety of medical and surgical cases and supporting professional growth. This position is suitable for all experience levels and offers the opportunity to work with a diverse range of species, not just cats and dogs. The hospital is equipped with advanced technology including on-site ultrasound, cold laser therapy, and high-definition digital radiology. The location is family-friendly and near attractions like Legoland.

Requirements

DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA accredited college (or successful completion of the ECFVG or PAVE program)
Active license in good standing to practice in the state in which candidate will be employed (or the ability to obtain a license in that state)

Responsibilities

Serve patients and clients with a relationship-based approach
Collaborate and engage with the clinical team and leadership
Grow relationships within the practice and the Winter Haven community
Encourage the growth of support staff members through our internal LevelUp training program
Manage a varying caseload, including surgeries and appointments during our open hours
