Join us as an Associate Veterinarian or Medical Director at VCA Jackson Animal Hospital. At VCA, the future of veterinary medicine is in our hands. Our practice focuses on providing comprehensive care for dogs and cats, handling a diverse range of cases and emergency situations. We are located in a community without nearby specialty hospitals, offering an opportunity to expand your skills and enjoy a variety of cases without typical emergency/specialty hours. Students and new graduates are encouraged to apply and will receive dedicated mentorship. The hospital operates Monday – Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university or equivalent.
• Licensure in good standing to practice in Michigan, or the ability to obtain.
• Obsessed with pets and their care.
• Dedicated to providing world-class medicine.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care for dogs and cats.
• Handle diverse case types and emergency situations.
• Work up diverse and interesting patients.
• Collaborate with a team of experienced assistants and Credentialed Veterinary Technicians.
• Develop strong client relationships built on trust.
• Practice the highest standard of medicine and uphold the veterinary code of ethics.
