Associate Veterinarian
About The Position
This role is for an Associate Veterinarian at VCA Animal Medical Center of NE Alabama. The position offers strong support through world-class medicine, technology, modern facilities, and a dedicated team of doctors and care staff. The center is AAHA-Accredited and features hands-free radiology and a wide variety of soft tissue and orthopedic surgeries. The culture is collaborative, and new graduates are encouraged to apply, with dedicated mentorship provided. The schedule is full-time, with operational hours Monday-Friday 7:00 am – 6 pm and Saturday 7:00 am – 2:00 pm. The caseload involves small animals, including both wellness and sick patients. Requirements
- A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university or equivalent
- Licensure in good standing to practice in Alabama or the ability to obtain
- A commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics
