About The Position

Tender Touch Small Animal Hospital is hiring an associate veterinarian for its independently owned small animal and integrative practice in downtown Redmond, Washington. The veterinarian will work directly with practice owner and veterinarian Dr. Sandhya Sadhanala in a supportive team environment. The hospital offers 30-minute appointments, an established client community, and opportunities to build lasting patient relationships. The practice welcomes veterinarians interested in preventive care, client education, compassionate handling, Fear Free techniques, and integrative medicine.

The position is full-time with a four-day work week, and part-time applicants are also welcome. Hospital hours are 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. on weekdays and 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. on Saturdays, with a commitment of one to two Saturdays per month. There are no on-call duties. The hospital has a full surgery suite, digital X-ray, digital dental X-ray, ultrasound, and in-house laboratory capabilities.

Full-time annual base salary is $120,000–$160,000, depending on experience, with a sign-on bonus of up to $15,000. Part-time compensation and benefit eligibility will be discussed based on the agreed schedule.

Requirements

• DVM or equivalent degree.
• Licensed or eligible for veterinary licensure in Washington State.
• Sound clinical judgment, kind communication, and a collaborative approach to teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide veterinary care, including preventive care and thoughtful examinations.
• Communicate clearly and kindly with clients and help them make informed decisions about their pets’ care.
• Build lasting patient relationships and support continuity of care.
• Collaborate and share cases and ideas with Dr. Sadhanala and support staff.
• Work one to two Saturdays per month, according to the schedule.
