About The Position

All Paws Veterinary Center, serving Upper Marlboro and surrounding communities, is seeking a dedicated Associate Veterinarian to join their compassionate and skilled team. The clinic is committed to delivering high-quality medical and surgical care in a collaborative, team-oriented environment where doctors are supported to thrive. The clinic is led by an exceptional Practice Manager and backed by a hardworking, dependable team, aiming to provide an enjoyable practice of medicine. The clinic's practice type is General Practice (GP) with an average daily patient volume of 17-20. The support staff ratio is 2:1. The case mix includes wellness, soft tissue surgery, dentistry, urgent care, emergency care, advanced surgeries, and grooming. The clinic is equipped with radiology, travel ultrasound, in-house labs, dental radiology, digital rads, and a small surgery suite, with a dental x-ray machine expected soon. The team culture is described as collaborative, mentorship-focused, friendly, and low-drama.

Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree from an accredited university.
Compassionate, client-centered approach to care.
Strong communication skills.
Client-education skills.
Interest in Surgery.
Interest in shelter medicine.
