About The Position

Luv-N-Care Animal Hospital is preparing for a carefully planned reopening under new leadership with a rebuilt team. The Associate Veterinarian will have the opportunity to help build the clinic’s next chapter, introduce new services and species, and participate in an equity opportunity. The clinic is intentionally staffed before reopening, operates as a walk-in-only clinic, and offers strong technician coverage.

The compensation package includes a base salary of $130,000–$140,000 annually, production-based compensation and additional incentives, and a $30,000 sign-on bonus for the right candidate. The role also offers a DVM Long-Term Incentive Cash Program with annual production-based bonuses, no negative accrual, transparent production metrics, and operational support. Additional offerings include continuing education support, paid licenses and professional dues, referral bonuses, flexible scheduling, mentorship, relocation assistance, and a 401(k) plan with company match.

The clinic is located in Southfield, Michigan, with access to Detroit and the greater Metro Detroit area. The region offers suburban convenience, short commutes, affordable living, dining and cultural options, parks, lakes, and outdoor recreation.

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree from an accredited university.
