About The Position
Auburn Animal Center, a well-established, community-oriented small animal practice in Auburn, Maine, is seeking a compassionate and dedicated full-time Associate Veterinarian. The role is suited to a veterinarian who values quality medicine, a supportive work environment, and a balanced schedule. The practice focuses exclusively on small animal medicine and provides comprehensive care. Its clinic includes three exam rooms and one surgical suite designed to prioritize medical services. There are no after-hours or on-call responsibilities. The collaborative, respectful team focuses on building long-term relationships with clients and their pets and offers a calm, supportive, team-oriented environment. The clinic is equipped with digital full-body radiography, digital dental radiography, in-house ultrasound, an Idexx Lab, and a microscope used extensively for cytology. The position offers a four-day workweek schedule with no weekends or on-call duties.
