About The Position

Clinton Animal Care Center is seeking a full-time or part-time Associate Veterinarian to join their team. The clinic has been serving the Wilmington community for over 30 years, offering compassionate companion-animal care with an emphasis on collaboration, mentorship, and medical autonomy. The clinic's philosophy is centered on mutual support, patient advocacy, and building lasting client relationships through education and integrity. The role offers a chance to have a meaningful impact on pets, people, and the community. The practice is a general practice focusing on companion animals with a steady caseload, long-term loyal clientele, and strong technician and assistant support. The case mix includes wellness, soft tissue surgery, dentistry, diagnostics, and preventive care. The clinic is equipped with digital X-ray, dental radiography, an in-house pharmacy, diagnostics, and a surgical suite. The team culture is described as drama-free, collaborative, mentorship-focused, supportive, and community-driven.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree from an accredited university (required)
