About The Position

Pebble Creek Animal Hospital is hiring a full-time Associate Veterinarian to care for dogs and cats in New Tampa and Wesley Chapel, Florida. The growing practice is part of a group of 9 hospitals and 215 people, with steady demand from new families in the area. The role offers a 20% ProSal compensation model with no negative accrual and support from credentialed, in-house-trained technicians. The veterinarian is accompanied by one assigned technician and two float technicians, with two assigned technicians on procedure days.

Appointments are generally 30 minutes, or an hour for two pets, with schedule blocks built in. Available diagnostics include ultrasound, endoscopy, digital radiology, and dental radiology; the veterinarian performs dental extractions. The team is bilingual, and Spanish is a plus but not required.

The schedule is 35 scheduled hours per week, arranged as either three 12-hour days or four 10-hour days. The role includes one weekend per month, with one or two doctors working weekends, and no after-hours emergency duty. Compensation is $100,000–$175,000, with quarterly ProSal payments. The hospital describes its management as open-book and open-door and emphasizes psychological safety, mentorship, and team activities.

Requirements
