About The Position
For more than 60 years, Heidt Veterinary Hospital has proudly served the pets and families of Lima, Ohio with compassionate, high quality veterinary care. As a full service small animal hospital, we combine modern medicine with a welcoming, community focused approach, creating lasting relationships with our clients while providing exceptional care for every patient. Practice type: General Practice Avg. daily patient volume: 15-18 appointments per DVM Support staff ratio: 2 techs per DVM Case mix: Wellness care, preventive medicine, dentistry, surgery, diagnostics, urgent care, laser therapy, and advanced surgical procedures. Technology & equipment: Digital diagnostics and imaging, in house laboratory, surgical suite, dental services, laser therapy, and advanced medical equipment. Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree from an accredited university (required)
- Eligible for veterinary licensure in Ohio
Responsibilities
- Practice exceptional medicine and surgery with the support of an experienced medical team and modern resources.
- Provide comprehensive care, from preventive medicine and dentistry to advanced surgery and urgent care.
- Work collaboratively with experienced veterinarians and dedicated support staff to provide outstanding care for every patient.
