About The Position

Parkway Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Associate Veterinarian (DVM) to join our well-established, AAHA-accredited veterinary practice in Roseburg, Oregon. As the only AAHA-accredited animal hospital in Douglas County, we have proudly served the community for more than 45 years while maintaining a commitment to exceptional medicine, client service, and team collaboration. Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited college of veterinary medicine, or equivalent certification for international graduates
Successful completion of the North American Veterinary Licensing Examination (NAVLE)
Active Oregon veterinary license in good standing, or ability to obtain licensure prior to start date

Nice To Haves

Experience utilizing digital radiography, dental radiography, and in-house diagnostics
Experience in small animal general practice, urgent care, or companion animal medicine
Interest in mixed animal medicine
Strong communication and client relationship skills
Collaborative, team-oriented approach to medicine

Responsibilities

Collaborate with four experienced veterinarians and a highly skilled support team
Provide preventive, medical, and surgical care for patients
Build lasting client relationships through education and communication
Develop treatment plans and follow-up care recommendations
Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records
Deliver high-quality medicine using advanced diagnostics and equipment
