About The Position

IndeVets offers a unique approach to associate veterinarian roles, prioritizing well-being by providing sustainable career paths, schedule control, and guaranteed income. As a part-time W-2 veterinarian working 1-3 days per week, you will have a guaranteed salary with a schedule you control. A dedicated scheduling coordinator will build your schedule in advance based on your preferences, offering predictability for your life outside of work. IndeVets handles scheduling, logistics, and coordination, allowing you to focus on practicing medicine. You will have a guaranteed salary as a foundation, with the option to earn more by picking up additional shifts, which can be paid out or converted into additional PTO. You will practice across a variety of trusted hospital settings, gaining diverse clinical experience while maintaining the consistency, support, and stability of a single employer. The role emphasizes practicing medicine your way, without production quotas, negative accrual, or restrictive non-competes, focusing on clinical autonomy and patient care. You will practice independently but with dedicated medical leadership, mentorship, and a collaborative community of fellow veterinarians. Access to a veterinary social worker and ongoing CE and professional development opportunities are provided to support growth and prevent burnout. Requirements

  • DVM or VMD from an AVMA-accredited program (or equivalent)
  • Active license (or ability to obtain)
  • DEA + controlled substance license (as applicable)
  • 1+ year of clinical experience in a small animal setting
  • Confidence practicing independently
  • Strong communication and client relationship skills
