About The Position

IndeVets is seeking a Part-Time Associate Veterinarian to join their team in Chicago, IL. This role offers a unique approach to veterinary medicine, prioritizing veterinarian well-being with flexible scheduling and guaranteed income. As a part-time W-2 employee working 1-3 days per week, you will have control over your schedule, with a dedicated coordinator building your schedule in advance. The position offers a guaranteed salary with the option to earn more through additional shifts, which can be paid out or converted to PTO. You will practice in various trusted hospital settings, gaining diverse clinical experience while maintaining the stability of a single employer. The role emphasizes clinical autonomy, patient care over numbers, and provides strong support systems including medical leadership, mentorship, a community of fellow veterinarians, and access to a veterinary social worker. Requirements

• DVM or VMD from an AVMA-accredited program (or equivalent).
• Active veterinary license (or ability to obtain).
• DEA + controlled substance license (as applicable).
• 1+ year of clinical experience in a small animal setting.
• Confidence practicing independently.
• Strong communication and client relationship skills.
