About The Position

IndeVets offers a unique approach to associate veterinarian roles, prioritizing well-being and providing sustainable career paths with income guarantees and flexible scheduling. As a part-time W-2 veterinarian working 1-3 days per week, you will have control over your schedule, receiving a biweekly salary and benefits. A dedicated scheduling coordinator will build your schedule in advance based on your preferences, offering predictability for your life outside of work. IndeVets handles scheduling, logistics, and coordination, allowing you to focus on practicing medicine. You will have a guaranteed salary as a foundation, with the option to earn more by picking up additional shifts, which can be paid out or converted into additional PTO. You will practice in various trusted hospital settings, gaining diverse clinical experience while maintaining the stability of a single employer. The role emphasizes practicing medicine your way, without production quotas, negative accrual, or restrictive non-competes, and with clinical autonomy focused on patient care. You will have dedicated medical leadership, mentorship, and a collaborative community of fellow veterinarians, including access to a veterinary social worker. Ongoing CE and professional development opportunities are also provided to support growth and prevent burnout. Requirements

  • DVM or VMD from an AVMA-accredited program (or equivalent)
  • Active license (or ability to obtain)
  • DEA + controlled substance license (as applicable)
  • 1+ year of clinical experience in a small animal setting
  • Confidence practicing independently
  • Strong communication and client relationship skills

  • Internship training
