About The Position
This Hospitalist position with National Wound Physician Group focuses on wound management in post-acute care settings such as Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals. Physicians will conduct weekly wound rounds at assigned facilities. The role offers clinical satisfaction, autonomy, flexibility, and a strong work-life balance with no nights, no call, and no weekend clinical responsibilities. Physicians will become experts in wound management through specialized training and a wound fellowship, utilizing cutting-edge technologies and modalities. The practice is mobile, covering a 40-60 mile radius and visiting 2-3 facilities per day, treating approximately 20-30 patients daily. Clinical documentation is performed in real-time at the point of care using a proprietary wound-specific EMR. W2 physicians can expect to earn an average of $300,000 per year plus benefits for a 30-hour work week, with part-time opportunities available. Paid training is provided during onboarding, along with a 6-month wound care fellowship. No work visa sponsorship is available.
Requirements
- Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice.
- Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.
- Full, active, and unrestricted license in the state you wish to practice.
- Minimum commitment of 3 days a week within our working days of Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities
- Become an expert in wound management.

- Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility.
- Visit 2-3 facilities per day, treating approximately 20-30 patients per day.
- Perform clinical documentation at the point of care, in real-time during clinical rounds, using proprietary wound-specific EMR.
