About The Position
IndeVets is seeking a Full-Time Associate Veterinarian for their Reno, NV location. This role offers a unique approach to veterinary medicine, prioritizing veterinarian wellbeing by offering control over schedules, guaranteed income, and a supportive community. The position involves working 4-5 days per week with a flexible schedule built in advance by a dedicated coordinator. Veterinarians will practice across a network of trusted hospital partners, gaining diverse clinical experience. The role emphasizes practicing medicine independently with strong support systems, including medical leadership, mentorship, a collaborative community, and access to a veterinary social worker. Opportunities for growth include leadership, mentorship, exposure to diverse clinical settings, and flexibility to evolve schedules. The model is designed to prevent burnout.
Requirements
- DVM or VMD from an AVMA-accredited program (or equivalent)
- Active license (or ability to obtain)
- DEA + controlled substance license (as applicable)
- 1+ year of clinical experience in a small animal setting
- Confidence practicing independently
- Strong communication and client relationship skills
