About The Position

IndeVets is hiring a part-time W-2 Associate Veterinarian in Jacksonville, Florida. The role offers work 1–3 days per week, with the veterinarian choosing preferred workdays and a dedicated scheduling coordinator building a predictable schedule in advance. The position includes a guaranteed salary based on the selected schedule, with the option to pick up additional shifts. Extra shifts may be paid out or converted into additional paid time off. Veterinarians work across trusted partner hospitals and varied clinical settings while remaining employed and supported by IndeVets. The role emphasizes clinical autonomy and patient care, with no production quotas, negative accrual, or restrictive non-competes. Veterinarians practice independently with dedicated medical leadership, mentorship, a community of fellow veterinarians, access to a veterinary social worker, and continuing education and professional development opportunities. The model is designed to provide flexibility and support while helping prevent burnout. Compensation and benefits include a guaranteed, predictable salary, professional liability insurance, workers’ compensation coverage, and a 401(k) with employer contribution. Paid time off and paid holidays are available for the three-day-per-week program. The company also offers discounts on VIN, VETgirl, Fear Free, VetRec AI scribe, and other services. IndeVets reduces administrative work by handling scheduling, logistics, and coordination.
