About The Position

Rocky Point Animal Hospital in Rocky Point, North Carolina, is seeking a compassionate and motivated Associate Veterinarian to join its friendly, collaborative team. The hospital provides a diverse caseload and a range of services, including wellness and preventative care, soft tissue surgery, dentistry and oral surgery, internal medicine and diagnostics, urgent and same-day medical care, and care for dogs, cats, and potbellied pigs. A visiting board-certified veterinary surgeon provides opportunities for collaboration and exposure to advanced surgical cases.

The veterinarian will practice high-quality medicine, develop clinical skills, provide personalized patient care, and build lasting relationships with clients. The hospital describes its environment as welcoming and supportive, with an emphasis on teamwork, communication, compassion, and professional growth. There are no weekend hours. The hospital is located just outside Wilmington, with access to coastal North Carolina and nearby beaches.

Requirements

• DVM or VMD degree from an accredited veterinary program.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in North Carolina.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality veterinary care.
