About The Position

CityVet Universal City offers a unique blend of general practice and urgent care services, providing doctors with diverse case exposure in a collaborative and well-supported setting. The role involves a wide range of cases, from preventative care to urgent situations and advanced surgeries, fostering continuous clinical skill development and high-quality medicine. The position is designed for a full-time Associate DVM interested in both GP and Urgent Care hours, with flexibility for candidates preferring to focus solely on Urgent Care. The hospital is equipped for advanced diagnostics and surgical care, including 4 exam rooms, a large treatment area, a private surgical suite, and on-site echocardiograms and ultrasounds interpreted by trained sonographers.

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent.
• Licensed to practice in this state or eligible for licensure.
• A collaborative spirit and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
• Interest in General Practice and/or Urgent Care medicine.
• Open to working a flexible schedule with rotating weekends.
• High interest in surgery, dentistry and Urgent Care.
• Confident working with complex cases.
• Thrives in a collaborative, creative, high-energy environment.
