About The Position

Cy-Fair Animal Hospital is a full-service small animal clinic committed to high quality, compassionate medicine and excellent client communication. Our well-equipped facility offers digital radiography, in-house lab diagnostics, dental suite, surgical suite, and a supportive, experienced team dedicated to professional growth and work–life balance. We are offering a medical director opportunity with partnership and equity as well. The clinical scope includes general wellness, sick visits, routine/advanced surgeries, dentistry, diagnostic imaging, and supportive care. The average appointment length and weekly caseload are tailored to maintain quality care and prevent burnout. There is an opportunity to develop interests (ultrasound, dentistry, soft-tissue surgery, exotics) and lead practice initiatives.

Requirements

DVM/VMD (or equivalent) degree from an accredited university.
Active Texas veterinary license (or eligibility to obtain one).
Current DEA License (or ability to obtain upon hire).
USDA Accreditation (or ability to obtain upon hire).
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Interest in exotics is welcome but not required.

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality clinical care for dogs and cats.
Participate in client education.
Engage in community outreach.
Collaborate on cases.
Develop interests in areas such as ultrasound, dentistry, soft-tissue surgery, and exotics.
