About The Position
Cy-Fair Animal Hospital is seeking an Associate Veterinarian or Medical Director Veterinarian with partnership equity. We are a full-service small animal clinic dedicated to high-quality, compassionate medicine and excellent client communication. Our well-equipped facility includes digital radiography, in-house lab diagnostics, a dental suite, and a surgical suite. We offer a supportive, experienced team environment that values professional growth and work-life balance. The Medical Director opportunity includes partnership and equity. The clinical scope includes general wellness, sick visits, routine/advanced surgeries, dentistry, diagnostic imaging, and supportive care. We tailor appointment length and caseload to prevent burnout and maintain quality care. There are opportunities to develop interests in areas like ultrasound, dentistry, soft-tissue surgery, and exotics, as well as lead practice initiatives.
Requirements
- DVM/VMD (or equivalent) degree from an accredited university.
- Active Texas veterinary license (or eligibility to obtain one).
- Current DEA License (or ability to obtain upon hire).
- USDA Accreditation (or ability to obtain upon hire).
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Eagerness to participate in client education, community outreach, and collaborative cases.
Nice To Haves
- Interest in exotics is welcome but not required.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality clinical care for dogs and cats.
- Conduct general wellness exams, diagnose and treat sick visits.
- Perform routine and advanced surgeries.
- Provide dental care.
- Utilize diagnostic imaging.
- Offer supportive care.
- Participate in client education.
- Engage in community outreach.
- Collaborate on cases.
- Develop interests in specific areas (ultrasound, dentistry, soft-tissue surgery, exotics).
