Requirements

  • DVM/VMD Degree: With experience in Emergency Medicine or high-volume Urgent Care.
  • Clinical Confidence: Proficiency in emergency surgery (GDV, splenectomy, lacerations) and management of complex medical cases (DKA, blocked cats, toxicities).
  • NYS License: Current license (or ability to obtain one).
  • Emotional Intelligence: A collaborative mindset. We value teamwork and open communication.
  • Client Connection: A desire to communicate effectively with owners, respecting the human-animal bond even in high-stress scenarios.
