About The Position

This role is responsible for providing administrative and operational support for the management of fiduciary accounts. The Associate Trust Administrator partners with Trust Administrators, Trust Officers, and internal teams to support account administration, ensure accurate processing, and deliver a consistent and compliant client experience.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required, bachelors degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of demonstrated fiduciary administration or client service experience preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of trust administration, estate planning strategies, and income, gift, and estate tax concepts.
  • Client Service: Ability to support client and partner interactions in a professional and responsive manner.
  • Administrative Support: Ability to manage account documentation, transactions, and operational processes with accuracy.
  • Fiduciary Awareness: Foundational understanding of trust administration, estate planning concepts, and fiduciary responsibilities.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain accurate records, monitor account activity, and ensure completeness of work.
  • Communication: Effective written and verbal communication skills when interacting with clients, partners, and internal teams.

Responsibilities

  • Supports internal and external clients, including beneficiaries and advisors, responding to routine inquiries and assisting with account-related requests.
  • Maintains client account information, including updates to account records, statements, and client data, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Supports execution of account transactions, including cash movements, check processing, and account updates, following established procedures.
  • Monitors account activity for overdrafts and exceptions, escalating issues and supporting resolution to maintain alignment with account requirements.
  • Assists with account openings, closings, and transfers, ensuring proper documentation, asset movement, and system setup.
  • Prepares reports and gathers account data to support reviews, audits, and ongoing client servicing needs.
  • Coordinates documentation with internal teams, external partners, and tax preparers to support account administration.
  • Works closely with Trust Administrators and Officers to support day-to-day account management and client servicing.
  • Follows established procedures and contributes to consistent operational practices across the team.
  • Performing other duties as assigned, adapting to new tasks or shifts in priorities as necessary to support your team’s and the company’s mission.
