About The Position

KLA is seeking Associate Test Engineer Trainees for various manufacturing positions. This is a 12-month trainee program designed for students pursuing an Associate's Degree. The role requires flexibility in working hours, with a commitment of 40 hours per week during summer months and 20 hours per week during the school year. Requirements

Ability to work in a clean room manufacturing environment is required.
Must be available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week.
Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Demonstrate excellent organization skills, with a logical approach to problem solving, good time management and task prioritization.
Willingness to learn, collaborate effectively within and across teams, and strive for continuous improvement.
Ability to stand, sit, bend, and periodically lift to 50 pounds with assistance.
Familiar with Microsoft Office.

Nice To Haves

Basic understanding of optics, mechanical, and electrical principles is helpful.

Responsibilities

Assist with performing the set-up, calibration, and testing of circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies.
May assist in the selection and set-up of specialized test equipment.
Work on assignments that are complex in nature where independent action and a high degree of initiative are required in resolving problems and developing recommendations.
Simple troubleshooting as needed.
