Associate Technician-2nd Shift

About The Position

The Associate Technician supports the production department by meeting productivity and quality standards. The role involves following work instructions, calibrating and setting up equipment, and reporting maintenance, quality, process, workflow, and safety issues to the Supervisor. The Associate Technician also helps train and mentor Associates, communicates with the Supervisor and team, supports the Team Leader and Supervisor, and maintains a clean and safe work area while adhering to company policies.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
Ability to prioritize, stay organized, and meet strict deadlines.
Reliable attendance and punctuality, including during breaks and lunch periods.

Responsibilities

Follow work instructions and motivate others to do the same.
Complete equipment calibration and setup, and promptly communicate maintenance issues to the Supervisor.
Identify quality, process, and workflow problems and inform the Supervisor of outstanding or recurring issues.
Participate in training Associates, mentor new hires, and cross-train Associates as needed.
Communicate and share information and expectations with the Supervisor; participate in team meetings and focus groups and offer input on facility issues.
Treat Associates with respect and dignity, maintain a positive attitude, and report concerns to the Supervisor.
Support management decisions, communicate concerns when appropriate, and assist the Team Leader and Supervisor with their duties.
Maintain a clean, safe work area and notify the Supervisor of potential safety or health issues.
Follow and monitor safety requirements and provide feedback where necessary.
Adhere to company policies.
