About The Position

Box is seeking an Associate Technical Consultant to partner with enterprise customers at the intersection of business strategy, technical expertise, and applied AI. The role translates business requirements into secure, production-grade solutions, including intelligent workflows, custom integrations, and technical extensions to the Box platform. Consultants advise customers, guide implementations and migrations, and help turn business goals into practical technical roadmaps and architecture. The consultant will use modern AI developer tools and automated workflows to improve delivery speed and code quality, while collaborating with Box Product, GTM, and Sales teams to address customer needs and provide an end-to-end client experience. Box expects employees to work from their assigned office at least three days per week.

Requirements

At least 2 years of technical experience and at least 2 years of customer-facing experience, preferably in a consultative role.
At least 2 years of experience working with SaaS and cloud technologies.
Ability to work in a dynamic environment with ambiguity and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
Comfort with one or more of Python, Java, C#, Ruby, or .NET.
Understanding of the application development lifecycle and RESTful API design concepts, with experience scripting against APIs at scale.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with single sign-on standards and technologies such as OAuth, SAML, OpenID, and Active Directory.
Familiarity with data analysis, mapping, and migration.
Experience developing, testing, and deploying an application end to end.
Exposure to or experience with database administration (DBA) and/or ETL.
Experience with information security.
Familiarity with iOS and/or Android mobile platforms.

Responsibilities

Partner with enterprise clients as a trusted technical advisor to translate complex business requirements into scalable solutions, technical roadmaps, and API integration strategies.
Design, develop, and deploy production-grade custom solutions and integrations that extend Box capabilities and support advanced AI workflows.
Guide customers through implementation of core Box platform capabilities, including technical configurations and content migrations.
Lead technical discovery sessions and architecture reviews with executive, business, and engineering stakeholders.
Use modern AI developer tools and automated workflows to accelerate delivery, improve code quality, and produce consulting artifacts.
Collaborate with Box Product, GTM, and Sales teams to advocate for customer needs, influence product development, and deliver a seamless client experience.
